The principles learned as a member of the Bradley Beal Elite have helped Brandon McKissic to a top honor in the Summit League.
Brandon was chosen this week as the Summit League’s Defensive Player of the Year. Additionally, the Kansas City Roos senior point guard was tabbed as All-Summit Second Teamer.
“Brandon has been an excellent defender over his entire career and earning the Defensive Player of the Year is a culmination of his work,” KC Coach Billy Donlon said. “He certainly deserves being an All-League player. Brandon has embraced and thrived in the move to point guard over the past two years.”
In addition to being a defensive stalwart, Brandon led the Roos in scoring (17.2 ppg), assists (3.3 apg) and steals (1.5 spg) this season.
