It was a banner weekend for the Bradley Beal Elite Girls program as the Lady Eagles won Platinum titles in the 17U and 15U ranks.
The 17U squad played six games in Hampton, Virginia at the 2022 Boo Williams Invitational and won them all, with an average margin of victory of nearly 20 points. Playing in the Pat Williams Division in Pool B, BBE swept through pool play with ease, securing victories over SJSR Ballers (50-27), Tripple Threat YD (63-25) and Team Voltage (56-30).
Those wins on Friday and Saturday put the Lady Eagles into the Platinum Bracket, where they picked up one more win on Saturday over NY Gauchos (60-38) to move into the semifinals on Sunday. The final day’s matchups were much more competitive, but the Eagles kept flying. Lady BBE defeated NJ Rise 64-50 to move onto the Final. It was a hotly contested championship match against Zone 6 Celtics, but BBE held on for a 54-48 win to clinch the title.
