Brandon Miller will be repping Bradley Beal Elite and the Charlotte Hornets during 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.
Brandon is one of 11 rookies selected to play in the 2024 Panini Rising Stars, an annual event showcasing the best young talent in basketball. The BBE alum is currently averaging 15.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
He is one of only two rookies to rank in the Top-10 among first-year players in points per game, rebounds per game, assists per game, steals per game and blocks per game. The other is No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama.
While playing in 39 of Charlotte’s 45 games thus far this season and starting 33 of them, Miller has 11 games scoring at least 20 points, which is second among NBA rookies. In his most recent outing, January 29th against the Knicks, Brandon matched his career-high with 29 points.
Brandon is one of 28 total players selected to the Panini Rising Stars Game. In addition to the 11 rookies, 10 second-year players and seven G-League players will also participate. The 28 players will be split into four teams which will be coached by Pau Gasol, Detlef Schrempf, Jalen Rose and Tamika Catchings. Teams will be drafted on Tuesday, February 6th at 4 p.m. ET streaming live on the NBA App.
Those four teams will then play a mini-tournament on Friday, February 16th as part of NBA All-Star Weekend. The games will air beginning at 9 p.m. ET on TNT.
