It’s been a breakout season for several members of the Bradley Beal Elite 16U 3SSB Boys team and they finished it on Sunday by winning the E16 Championship at Peach Jam.
Four players scored in double figures, led by Miika Muurinen, who came back from a scary fall in Saturday’s semifinal and a trip to the hospital, to tally 21 points on 8-of-11. Jashawn “JJ” Andrews added 17 points on 7-of-9 as BBE 16U completed an unbeaten 6-0 week at Peach Jam with a 74-63 win over Team CP3 in the Championship.

The victory over Team CP3 completed an incredible run for the BBE 16s.
They began it with a heartstopping 62-58 victory over JET Academy last Saturday, thanks to a late steal and score by Sheek Pearson to put the icing on with seconds remaining. Pearson finished with 10 points on 4-of-6 and five boards.
How about a defensive game winner 👀🔥😤 Sheek Pearson seals the game with a big steal and dunk #peachjam🍑 @SheekPearson

Loud 33 PT (7-10 3PT) outing from Top-10 2026 wing Miikka Muurinen.
Got it done within the flow of offense and counted 5+ blocks on the other end. Positional size, skill, fluidity and moxie.

Watching 2027 Evansville Reitz forward Jaylan Mitchell, but 2026 center Miikka Muurinen is stealing the show for Brad Beal Elite 16. He's 6'10+, runs like a guard, great hands, jumps well, and has a silky outside shot. Super impressive stretch for the 2026 prospect.

This Brad Beal Elite 16u team is REALLY impressive.
6’10” Miikka Muurinen is a special prospect. Moves incredibly well for his size. Handles it. Shoots it. Blocks shots. Ranked #10 in 2026 by On3.
JJ Andrews & Jaylan Mitchell (2027) are big-time players as well.@BradBealElite

With a 4-0 run through their pool, BBE entered the championship bracket but faced two tough tests on Saturday. In the first game, Team Durant put them up against the ropes and took the game to overtime, but Bradley Beal Elite pulled it out 65-61 behind a balanced effort by Andrews (15 points, 11 rebounds), Murrinen (17 points) and Trey Pearson (14 points, 7 assists).
Big win for the Brad Beal 16U squad in OT to advance to the Peach Jam semis.
Athletic wing @JJAndrews2026 has had a huge week. 2027 @JaylanMitchell1 (Olney, IL native) is a versatile big-bodied forward. And 6’10” stretch big Miikka Muurinen is really good.

In the semis against Pro Skillz Elite came another tough test as they saw Miikka leave in the opening minute with an injury that delayed the game and forced paramedics to come out with a stretcher.
Really scary scene here at Peach Jam.
Talented 2026 forward Miikka Muurinen from Brad Beal Elite was fouled hard on breakaway and has been down on ground for 20 minutes. Stretcher finally out and players from both teams gathered around.

As they headed to the Championship game, BBE got even better news as Miikka checked out clean at the hospital and was given the okay to play in the Final. Not only did he show up, but he showed out in front of dozens of scouts with 21 points on 8-of-11, including four threes. He also grabbed three boards and had two blocks.
