After an outstanding AAU season with Bradley Beal Elite that helped to raise his stock, Vince Dawson made his next move official, signing his National Letter of Intent to Morehead State University.
The decision allows Vince, a Kentucky native, to stay close to home, as Morehead’s bluegrass state campus is just an hour outside of his hometown of Georgetown.
Morehead won the Ohio Valley Conference tournament last season to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three years.
Vince was recently recognized as the No. 7 player in the state of Kentucky by The Courier-Journal.

“Vince is a winner!” Morehead State Coach Jonathan Mattox said. “He has a legitimate chance to win a state championship this season. He is a versatile player who can really shoot it from the perimeter, has defensive toughness and competes on the glass. We’re very excited we were able to get him and keep him close to home.”
